I have these lines on my skin
that illuminate
when the light fades
as if to ruminate
on the tracks
you’ve traced
along these veins
like sparks
still falling
after the light
has parted.

I love this! Another of yours I wish I’d written.
Ah, thank you Jane. That’s so beautiful to say. I do admit I often feel that same about yours 😊🤗
That makes me happy 🙂
This one is really lovely, Damien.
The light underneath tracing the tracks–like fire that has softened to glowing embers.
Wow, that’s deep, Dami.
I just had to read it again and again as there is so much said in those few beautiful words. So many possible causes for lines on the skin and each offers a completely different perspective…
Poetry at its best!
I hope, those wild herbs we prefer to let grow in respect provide lots of healing and strength where needed.
Much Love,
Steffi
What a vision. I really like this one. (K)
