I walk under the bloom
As branches bend with beauty,
Not all perfection is weightless,
Even the blossom must bare its
Burden upon a branch

Oh this is perfectly wonderful – can I share it on my blog Dami?
Of course, it would be an honor! And I am so thrilled to have been your first follower. Here’s to your continued success and sharing 🤗🤗
Thank you so much Dami 🙂
Baring a burden is a deepening of meaning I like in this one.
Thanks Jane

Wonderful poem–and that tree! It is so beautiful, and I can imagine children playing under those branches. But yes, the burden of beauty, in all its forms.
Thank you Merril! There were lots of kids around as it’s in the jardin des plantes but I managed to push them all out of the way, gently, to take the photo 😊
I’m glad you added the “gently,” Damien. 😉
Wise and wonderful.
Perfection is a burden to carry, an impossibility to maintain – yet we all know beauty, however fleeting.

Thank you so much Anna, I am really touched by your comments. The day feels so much brighter now
Love it
I am happy to hear this 😊😊
