If you can spare the time to tell me more about those tall skinny sculpture things, please do. Are they standing on a permanently wet surface or is it only wet due to rainy weather?
Oh, I had to look through to see which ones, those were over by La Défense and rest upon a shallow pond. It was part of a long term exhibition of contemporary art entitled Les Extatiques. I think it’s finished now. The 3rd picture is also from this area and exhibition with the colorful tiled pond and the building La Défense in the background which is basically a straight concrete arch which stands in line with Arc de triomphe and the glass Pyramide at the musée du louvre
I loved the colourful tiled pond as you’d expect. These two “wet” works with all their colour and form, and reflections, are just amazing!
