These are a great treat Dami and I was so pleased you published before I head off for my sleep. Some old favourites and many that are new to me. Fascinating collection and really quite dramatic – twice I felt like I might actually fall into the photo hahaha… the foxglove nearly had me – I felt I might fall down the throat – like Alice down the rabbit hole 🙂 I’ve just put up a post with photos of the Blue Mountains behind our town, taken today – I think I’ve mentioned them when we’ve been chatting.
Well have a sweet colorful slumber and no falling too far. It’s May Day here so I’m off to the cinema. I’ll come climb those blue mountains this afternoon possibly after a cheeky midday nap, which are not just for babies. Fais de beaux rêves
Oh, so you have a holiday for May Day.. how nice and I hope the movie is great – always a treat to see something on the big screen!
I saw Gloria Bell with Julianne Moore! It was a striking performance with a stand-up-and-applaud paint-ball revenge scene and a nice distraction from the ‘traditional’ May Day riots running through the other streets in Paris today. Tradition is a complicated word, unfortunately tethered too far too much fear.
Oh what a sad reality.. I imagined everyone happily having a day off and enjoying spring – how wrong could I be!
Such a stunning and varied collection of photos! Wow! I had forgotten it was May Day–not something that’s really celebrated here. Enjoy!
Well if France was a person it would be a hoarder, it lets go of nothing! Maybe another reason the streets are full of riots today, another tradition it clings to with a worrisome pride 😞
Oh dear. We should tell them that it’s OK to let go of some traditions. 😦
Spectacular! ❤️❤️Oh to be surrounded by the glory of such Colour! What an eye you have my friend.
Thank you so much Paula! Sending colorful hugs and wishes your way ❤️
