Thanks Paula. The building is an early Art Nouveau building next to la Tour Eiffel and it is just amazing- the streets around that area are filled with stunning architecture. The Eiffel tower is right in the middle of a residential area. Most pictures of it are taken on the Champs du Mars which is the field on which it stands which is basically a long park but on either side of it are just houses- with the best view in town, of course. Although when it was first erected for the World Trade Exhibition, everyone hated it- it was’t meant to be around for more than 6 months!!!
