I am tearful,
Frightened, silenced, muted,
Mixed up, maddened
And pestered.

I am bloody
Boiling, brooding, blushing,
Bending over
Backwards.

But I’m alive
Surviving, breathing, breaking,
Living, learning,
Evolving.
