ONE NIGHT IN CHELTENHAM

Last Friday, 8th Jan, I was honoured to be invited by Cheltenham Poetry Festival to be their featured poet at their online zoom reading along with the excellent and incandescent Catrice Greer, a mind-blowingly amazing collection of poets who took part in the open mic and the best smiley-faced and supportive audience you could ever hope for. It was an extraordinary evening of shining stars and magic moments. I will eventually post my part of the night on my YouTube Channel.
For my longest poetry reading to date, I shared a 22-minute journey through life so far; from birth, to adoption, family, taking flight, Paris, London, Amsterdam before turning back to Paris again, panic attacks and finding a way to add balance to it all.
The poems I shared slipped in and out of Eat the Storms, my debut collection published by The Hedgehog Poetry Press, along with a sneak-peak at one of the poems from my new Stickleback collection due out in the coming weeks and a few other poems all listed below with links to some of them…
