The 6th of December is my one year anniversary of packing up my life on mainland Europe (Paris, London, Amsterdam, Paris again / 1997-2019) and heading back to Ireland and the life that lay in wait; a writer’s life it turned out to be, safely tucked into the tiny village of Lusk, on the outskirts of Co Dublin in the house once built for my great grandparents in 1904.
And so today, on my Poetry Podcast which is the penultimate episode before season 1 ends (not to worry- Season 2 stats mid January) I will be celebrating Poetry In Ireland. I will be joined by Eilin de Paor, Therese Kieran and Welsh poet now living in Ireland Karen S Moore. So join us on Spotify, Google Podcasts, Applepodcasts, Breaker, Anchor, Podbean, Pocketcasts and many more platforms. New episode drops at 5pm every Saturday. Over this episode and two more, coming next season, I will share the voices of Poets living in Ireland.
Next week will be the Christmas Special Episode of poetry, music and merriment. So see you there and meanwhile; stay safe and well and in the Good Spirits of the Season and, of course, Stay Bloody Poetic
