Hello from Eat The Storms, 1 day old today.

A huge thank you to everyone for your support, love, light, joy, colour & for embracing my poetry collection.

An extra huge thank you Mark Davidson- creator of the Hedgehog Poetry Press, my publisher- I keep waking up but the dream is still here!

And also, to my Mum, of course, my current cottage-mate, for letting me cook every night since moving back in December and embracing all the new dishes and for the best support any child could ever ask for. I love you to the Power Station and back again.

Last night brought home a wonderful reaction to the launch show and I cannot tell you how much that means to me. It was cheeky to take an hour from everyone and ask them to sit with me but hopefully the costume changes and video poems kept everyone awake…

The book is still available to buy here on the blog for signed copies (there are still a few postcards and bookmarks left as treats) and on Amazon ( & .com) for non signed copies.

Tomorrow, the 3rd episode of my podcast Eat The Storms (on Spotify, Anchor, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Overcast, PocketCast and many more platforms) will drop and this time it is packed with beloved guest poets sharing their poems with me. I feel the love.

These other two little videos from my #Eatthestorms #Tiktok account are here because I had to have a little Joni Mitchell and Bette Midler to serenade my baby… 65g

Enjoy the storms, with love, Dami xx

Bask in the warmth of the celebration, Damien, and take it easy for a few days before you turn your attention to other projects. You certainly deserve some rest after your sprint to the finish line. I am already impatient for the release of your Paris collection and enjoyed the sneak peek of it that you provided during your launch show. I can’t help but play back to you the challenge that you gave us all, “Stay bloody poetic.” 🙂

I think it is now an official part of your “brand,” Damien. We all can use that kind of encouragement and motivation to view the world through creative eyes, even those of us who do not write poetry.

I am very much looking forward to receiving my signed copy. This is the first book of poetry I have ordered through Hedgehog.
